A spring guide to Inverness

Spring is the season of new life. We love this time of year in the Scottish Highlands, as nature wakes up from its winter slumber. So, browse our spring blogs above and start planning some exciting days out!

Spring weather

The average temperature in Inverness over the spring is around 7°C, but can be anywhere between 1°C and 14°C. The weather conditions are always very changeable here in the Highlands and we can experience all kinds of weather, both warm and cold. We might even get some snow in early spring. This is the driest season of the year, but you should still be prepared for rainfall.

When it comes to packing, it’s all about the layers. If you layer up, you can simply add and remove layers depending on the current weather conditions. Check out our handy packing list
