Inverness Music Festival

27th February – 4th March 2020

A great way to kick off spring in Inverness! This local music competition is open to all ages and abilities. It’s a wonderful event for all music lovers, whether you’re performing at Eden Court Theatre, or watching and listening in the audience.

One of Inverness Music Festival’s main aims is to provide an opportunity for amateur musicians to perform before an audience. So, come along and show your support! You can purchase tickets in advance from the Theatre Box Office.

8th March 2020

The Half Marathon and 5K is a wonderful event for runners of all levels and abilities. Training for a 5K run is the perfect way to get fit, now that the colder weather is coming to an end. Etape Loch Ness

26th April 2020

This spring, thousands of cyclists will hit the road from Inverness to Fort Augustus and back again in the annual Etape Loch Ness. This 66-mile pedal around Loch Ness takes in some of the most beautiful scenery in all of Scotland, not to mention a few monster hills. The Etape Loch Ness is a much-loved and eagerly anticipated event for cyclists and spectators alike.

Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival

29th April – 4th May 2020

Seeking a taste of the Highlands? Head on over to the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. Festival events take place throughout Speyside, in the Moray area near Inverness. Founded in 1999, it’s is a celebration of all things whisky. With plenty whisky-tasting on the cards, it would be a shame not to take advantage of this fantastic event – after all, it is educational too!

Spring 2020

There are lots of fantastic shows coming to Eden Court Theatre in Inverness this spring. With music from the Inverness Fiddler’s Rally, Jimmy Buckley and tribute act Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac. Dancing with Brendan Cole, Acosta Danza and Strictly Come Dancing stars Aljaz Skorjanec and Janette Manrara in Remembering The Oscars. Comedy from the hilarious Jimmy Carr and Josh Widdicome. Get the girls together for a theatre trip to see Girls Night Oot! The Musical. And, for the kids, there’s Peter and the Wolf in Concert and opera for little ones Fox-Tot.
