Bus Links

Inverness Bus Station is located in the heart of the city. Less than a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from The Kingsmills. There are a few different bus services which connect Inverness to other cities around Scotland and Great Britain. For example, Megabus and CityLink. Check for city connections.

There is a great local bus service in Inverness, run by Stagecoach. So once you’re here, getting around the area is easy. There’s a bus stop near the hotel, connecting you to the city centre and many other fantastic places to visit. Plan your journey.

Train Lines

Inverness Train Station can be found alongside the bus station, in the city centre. Also around a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from The Kingsmills. Making Inverness within easy reach by rail journey from towns and cities all over the country. Search for trains.

The local train services, managed by ScotRail, cover a wide radius. So you can get into and out of the city and suburbs on the train, and can take day trips to other exciting places around Scotland. Plan your trip.

Air Travel

Inverness Airport is a small, modern airport, which offers regular flights between other parts of the UK, Ireland and Europe. Including major connections like Gatwick, Heathrow, Bristol, Manchester and Amsterdam. The Kingsmills is just a short 20-minute taxi ride away. Inverness Taxis is the appointed airport taxi company and there is a dedicated taxi zone outside the terminal building, where you can grab a cab. Search for flights.
