Two-Five-Ones Blues Dinner
Over the past year, our calendar of dining events has grown into something truly special. From the mind-bending Magic with Kevin Quantum to our much-loved sell-out Candlelight Dinners. Each event brings together exceptional dining with memorable entertainment. We’re continuing that tradition, and this time in the intimate setting of our Burns Room.
Inspired by the atmosphere and energy of the International Blues Festival, we’re hosting this special Blues Dinner Experience on Friday 27th March 2026 at The Kingsmills Hotel.
Blues Dinner Experience
Hosted in our elegant Burns Room, guests will be seated at relaxed hospitality tables. A sociable and welcoming atmosphere lies ahead. The evening pairs a curated three-course menu with the rich sounds of live blues, performed by renowned blues musicians The Two Five Ones.
As dinner unfolds, the music will move from smooth, soulful blues to groove-driven rhythms, creating a beautifully immersive backdrop for the evening. It’s the perfect way to ease into a weekend of music in Inverness. Great food, great company and stunning live performance.
About the Band
The Two Five Ones are well-known local musicians with a repertoire of jazz and blues who are coming together specially for our event. Playing regularly in support of top musicians visiting Inverness’s highly acclaimed jazz club. The five piece showcase their talents during and after dinner.
From smooth, late-night swing to groove-driven blues and soulful ballads, their sound creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxed dining that naturally builds into an evening of feel-good energy.
The band features Spider Mackenzie on saxes, Adrain Beckwith on keys, Neil Sharkey on bass, Steven Curley on guitar and Michael Sharkey on drums. And, their repertoire draws on timeless jazz standards, blues favourites, and re-imagined classics, offering something familiar yet fresh – they can often be heard as Inverness Jazz Club House Band who play regularly at Wasps Creative Academy supporting visiting guest musicians.
Expect an evening where exceptional food meets live music, creating a relaxed, immersive dining experience with just the right touch of rhythm and soul.

Please note that you will be seated on hospitality tables of up to 10 guests. Booking 10 tickets together will ensure a private table. This ticket is non-refundable or changeable. The management reserves the right to cancel or re-arrange events. This event is subject to reaching minimum numbers. If numbers do not reach this amount, you will receive a refund for any monies paid.
