A holiday home feel with our Garden Rooms

At the Kingsmills Hotel, we have different room types to suit different needs. From our Classic and Classic 1785 Rooms, which offer all the Kingsmills essentials, to Family Rooms with additional bunk beds, and upgraded Luxury, Patio and KingsClub Rooms. But if you’re looking for more of a home-from-home feel here in Inverness, somewhere between a hotel room and a holiday home, then take a look at our Garden Rooms.

Garden Rooms at the Kingsmills

These 12 rooms are separate from the rest of the hotel, nestled within our manicured gardens. Each one has its own private entrance, a large bedroom with space to work and relax, an ensuite bathroom, and a garden patio with outdoor seating. It feels more like a self-contained apartment than a standard hotel room. Suitable for individuals or couples, each Garden Room has a king-size bed. These rooms have great outdoor access and are dog-friendly, so your four-legged friends can come along too. One of our Garden Rooms is also accessible with a step-free with accessible bathroom, low-level wash basins, and safety pull cords and handrails.

Dining and room service

Although these rooms are not self-catering, we offer a convenient room service. No matter what time of day, this in-room dining service is available to all guests. You can order food from our lounge or restaurant menus, either through your in-room telephone or directly on WhatsApp by downloading the Kingsmills mobile app. You can then dine in the comfort of your Garden Room, with a choice between indoor and outdoor seating. We’ll be on hand to help with any dietary requirements you may have or special requests. But please note that certain offerings will only be available at certain times of day. If you prefer to dine in the lounge or restaurant, these are just a short walk away in the main hotel building.

Of course, the great benefit of our Garden Rooms is they have all the conveniences of a luxury hotel. In addition to the bar, restaurant and in-room dining, we have a friendly concierge team who can help should you need anything during your stay. The Kingsclub Spa and Leisure Club offers a swimming pool, gym and relaxing spa treatments. And we have a free car park with 4 EV charging points.
