Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a two-day sustainable conference for a leading water supplier, welcoming over 200 delegates per day. A Venue Designed for Sustainable Conferences
The Kingsmills Suite was the central hub of the event, transformed into a cabaret-style layout to accommodate 200 guests comfortably. A large stage setup ran along one wall, with a central podium creating excellent sightlines for speakers. Natural daylight from our garden-facing windows filled the space, and during refreshment breaks, doors were opened to allow in fresh air.
This not only provided a bright and inspiring atmosphere for “blue sky thinking” but also reduced reliance on artificial lighting and ventilation – a simple yet effective step towards hosting a more sustainable conference.

- Spaces Used: Macleod, Adams, Burns + Lounge
- Breakfast Catering: Standing reception with poser tables, breakfast on arrival
- Refreshments: Served in Kingsmills Foyer

- Lunch: Finger buffet in the Inglis & Conservatory Restaurant
