Food & Beverage
Bar Manager (Full Time)
We are looking for a Bar Manager to join our team.
You are a leader with strong organisational skills and you are passionate about training. Your experience allows you to work closely with your team, exceeding the expectation of our guest experience in every aspect of their stay so that they leave us feeling enriched and engaged in our ethos.
- Working behind the bar, supporting your colleagues and maintaining consistent standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction whilst creating a working environment that supports our 4* high standards.
- Supervising , training and motivating the team bar and lounge areas
- Involved in liquor stocktaking
- Bar Manager will also be required to pick up Duty Manager shifts.
- Involved in devising rotas.
- Involved in Recruitment and Induction of new Associates
- Carry out interviews for any potential new Bar Associates.
- The right candidate will have experience working a luxury environment producing consistently excellent drinks, a good eye for detail, a passion for quality drinks, dedication to exemplary customer service, a high work ethic and a desire to learn.
- We offer an excellent salary and working conditions. You will be required to work five days from seven which includes evenings and weekends on a rota basis. The rota is devised around our levels of business.

Bar Assistant (Full & Part Time hours available)
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, confident, passionate associates to join our Beverage Team at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness. We embody the one team approach, full of knowledge and passion we strive for excellence in all that we do.
Here is a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- You’ll consistently ensure the highest standards of service, drinks preparation and bar organisation, always exceeding our guests’ expectations.
- You’ll bring a dynamic, warm and friendly service to our bars; from preparing wines and cocktails to serving tea and coffee.
- You’ll be delivering efficient service of drinks, providing a warm and memorable experience for all our guests.
- Assist guests with sharing your knowledge of classic cocktails, wines and spirits.
- You’ll be meticulous in preparing drinks; accurately measuring, following recipes and making sure they’re presented immaculately.
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised bar area, including preparing fresh ingredients for service.
- You’ll bring your creativity and contribute to the development of new drinks and offerings .
- You’ll be proficiently up-selling and encouraging other team members to do the same at every opportunity, Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations;
Rate of Pay; £12 per hour (18+)
Restaurant Associate (Full & Part Time hours available)
Join our team of dedicated professionals in a department of 30 associates, delivering quality food and beverages daily across our two restaurants and private dining rooms.
Your duties will vary each day which makes working at the Kingsmills Hotel a fun place to be!
You will gain valuable experience in food service as well as developing your communication and interpersonal skills.

Shifts are variable between 7am and 3pm and from 3pm to 11pm as well as some shorter evening shifts and occasional split shifts. If you are available for 2 shifts, 3 shifts or 5 shifts including weekends, please do get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
We offer a highly competitive pay rate starting at £12 per hour.
Front of House
Hall Porter (Full Time)
An opportunity has arisen to join our Concierge Team here at Kingsmills Hotel. We are, privately owned, which means you are known as a person and not just by a number. How our team are valued and treated is highly important to us. We recognise a Happy Team equals Happy Guests. There are no split shifts, and you can enjoy a happy work/life balance. We do try to ensure you get a long weekend off on a rota basis.

This full time position will be 40 hours per week, 5 days from 7, generally 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm. Weekend work is required on a shift rota basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Handling of Luggage from arrival, delivering to guest rooms and collection of luggage on departure also, if required. Storing of Luggage.
· Delivery of amenities to guest bedrooms.
. Assisting with set-up of Meeting Rooms , breaking them down and delivering tea/coffee, lunch to the delegates.
. Keeping Hotel Lounge areas clean and tidy.
. Going to the Post Office with parcels.
. On hand to give guests local information and knowledge of the area. Helping them with booking trips.
· Completing Online Training Modules to help with your development and knowledge.

24 Hour Hospitality
Night Porter (Full Time)
Working up to five nights from seven; approximate hours 11pm-7.15am. Duties include cleaning and hoovering public areas, serving drinks to any late residents in the lounge bar, assisting with the set-up of meeting rooms for early morning starts. Checking in late arrivals to the Hotel and checking out early departures, answering telephone and often taking messages. Completing several security checks of the building throughout the night and being aware of night shift procedures. Previous experience desirable however training will be provided. This position will be dealing with guests so applicant requires excellent communication skills and interaction with the Guests.
We have full and part-time hours available.
Rate of Pay is + £12 per hour. A clean driving license is essential for this position and candidates must be aged 18+ to be able to serve alcohol.

Spa & Leisure
Spa Therapist (Full Time & Part Time available)

you have already experienced a busy 4* spa environment

We’re looking for someone who can provide all our Spa treatments.
Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
Performing all professional spa treatments and our full range of treatments offer, including massages, facials and body treatments
Providing the highest level of customer service, interacting, building trust and recommending bespoke treatments to our guests at the start and throughout their time with you, providing a warm, professional and efficient guest experience
Carrying out Spa duties and general cleaning tasks enhancing guest experience within each therapy room and spa facility
Managing, organising and keeping our Spa therapy rooms maintained to the highest of standards,
adhering to all hygiene standards and health and safety regulations
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations,
playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
Working 5 days from 7 which includes weekends.
Rate of Pay – up to £13 per hour
Kitchen
Head Chef (4 days on, 3 days off)
Working in the hospitality industry is like no other. A hotel is a living, breathing place that pulses 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We serve passionately and proudly and we delight in welcoming guests from all over the world to sample our beautiful Highlands of Scotland and the warm hospitality for which we are known. Our kitchen team is led by our Executive Chef Geoff Malmedy and we have two head chefs who look after our restaurant and banqueting kitchens. We are now looking for a head chef to join the team.
Who we are looking for:-
- Experienced Head Chef with a solid background of working in hotel kitchens which are of a fast paced environment.
- You will be assisting our Executive Head Chef in helping lead the team in order to consistently deliver the highest standards of food service exceeding guests expectations. Lunch: Up to 100; Dinner: Up to 200; Breakfast: Up to 300; Functions: Up to 300 therefore this requires someone who is strong and able to cope with high volume whilst not comprimising our standards
- You must be able to work on your own but also in a team helping motivate others around you.
- Holds Intermediate Food Hygiene (desirable).
- ‘Can do attitude’
- Great leader for the kitchen brigade to follow, learn and develop.
- Always looking for ways to improve and enhance our food.
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you’re well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail

The shifts are working four days from seven. Shifts are 10am-10pm or 11am-11pm, 48 hours per week. Additional hours worked will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Short term accommodation can be provided for a temporary period until own accommodation has been found.
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
Rooms
Room Attendant (21 hours)
As a Room Attendant, you will play a key part in providing an exceptional welcome to our Guests every day. Your responsibilities will include: Servicing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the required standards set out by our Executive Head Housekeeper and Head Housekeeper hoover bedrooms and clean bathroom floors removing all debris restock amenities water, biscuits, tea/coffee Dust and polish all hard surfaces including high dusting Complying fully with all regulations relating to Health Safety, Food Handling, Fire Procedures and COSHH Report any room defects or any faulty equipment.
This is a permanent role where full training can be provided so experience not essential. With regards to working hours we can be flexible. We have full time hours and part-time hours available. We are looking for team players but you must be able to work on your own initiative too once fully trained.
