Fix Your Swing Plane

Before traveling to Inverness and the Kingsmills Hotel consider trying these exercises to stabilize your swing plane. Many golf instructors teach the one-swing plane method. This is accomplished by having each part of your body move in harmony to create a single plane for each swing.

To start, use your arms as a guide. Instead of swinging with your ultra golf club, tries to align your shoulders, arms, and hips in unison as you take imaginary back swings. This will help you stop and see where your body is at each level of the swing. From here you want to imagine a glass plane behind you. As Ben Hogan wrote, the hands, arms, and club should never break this plane.
