About Us > What our Guests Say about staying at the Kingsmills Hotel

An absolute gem of a hotel! Huge spaceous rooms (if a little bit of a hike from the reception) with wonderful views. Clean hotel  Turned up for breakfast on the last day when they should be closing and we offered a seat withput any complaints (only time we ate at the restaurant was breakfast time).
Trip Advisor Aberdeen, April 2008

Family stayed at the hotel to celebrate a "Special" birthday. There were 6 adults and 4 kids in our party and we all had a fab time. The pool was great for the kids (perfect size & depth) so they could swim without having to watch them constantly.
Ate in the restaurant one night - great food! Kids meals were great value. Breakfast was fantastic, there was something for everyone from fruit to porridge and the whole traditional breakfast. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Lovely hotel. The rooms were very clean and the beds were so comfortable and large. The hotel was well maintained and cosy. We felt really welcome. We had stayed here before and had the same amazing experience with friendly, patient staff, clean rooms and the swimming pool was brilliant. Child were welcome too and we didn't feel they were a nusiance at all. The breakfast was also beautiful. The only thing I could possibly fault was the price of the evening meals. I would certainly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Excellent value. The hotel had that day changed hands and is now the Kingsmills Hotel. Very helpful check-in staff, in fact all the staff we met were very pleasant and helpful.

The room was large and cosy, with really comfy large twin beds. The bathroom had separate bath and shower and was well appointed. As a bit of a cleaning queen, I had no problems with the state of the room. We had dinner in the hotel lounge which was good. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could wish for - even smoked salmon. The fresh fruit was fresh and not tinned, the chef cooked eggs to order and the rest of the cooked stuff was constantly replenished. The chef was quite a character and we had a good chat and a laugh with him while he was doing the eggs. All in all a pleasant stay, would recommend.

"Seems hardly worth a review - one night stay en route to the Isle of Skye and one night on the return. But the hotel just got it right and I'm not sure how to explain that. The location is great and every single thing they did for us was a step beyond the norm, be it storing our bags, organising transportation or finding us coffee in the early hours. The hotel is clean and comfortable with all the amenities. We came away with a real good feel for the place and we would certainly stay there again - and that's certainly worth putting on the record."

"Very large well appointed rooms, first class service, Dinner and breakfast in the hotel were superb. Rounded of a fantastic weekend"

"My husband and I went for a couple of nights in Inverness along with my mum and dad. We all had a fantastic time. The hotel is located a short drive from the centre of Inverness, although you could walk it on a nice day. The rooms were great, really good size. We had a huge king-size bed which overlooked the garden; bed/pillows, etc were extremely comfortable; the bathroom was a very good size with a bath and separate shower cubicle" Source "tripadvisor"
